Established in 1973, Hakushu is one of the highest distilleries in the world located in the forested area of Mt. Kaikomagatake in the Japanese Southern Alps.
This Hakushu 25 Year Old whisky is a blend of single malts all produced here, some of which is heavily-peated. Some have been aged in sherry casks. And all are at least 25 years old.
The Hakushu 25 Year Old been widely praised by some of the biggest names in whisky, including a score of 93/100 by Jim Murray in 2009.
